So pretty (<3) and DETAILED. If you don't mind, could you tell me what mediums you used? Your composition is FANTASTIC! The way you balanced the piece with red and brown is very well done. The owls look soft (I want one)! Oh my gosh, the more I look at this piece, the more detail I see. There is soooo much to say about this piece! The colours are soft where they need to be, and bright and vivid to allow Red Riding Hood stand out. This is so very lovely and I'm going to browse your other works RIGHT NOW!
Aahw, your comment made me so extremely happy! and really shy too haha! Thank you so much for the extremely kind words and all the compliments you gave me, that's just so nice of you <3, (i want a soft owl too *o*)
I mainly use coloured pencils for all my peaces. I use a black pen for the outlines and in this peace i also used a red pen for the hoodie. After the piece is finished, i scan it and add the colours a little bit more on my computer, just because the scanner often makes the whole drawing look really gray and not lively x'D
I try to leave nice comments and (hopefully) long ones as well. Not enough people seem to have a lot to say. But I'm glad I made you happy! I try. And thank you for telling me what mediums you use. I didn't know that was possible with coloured pencils! AWESOME!
Well maybe you are right, but i personally think the hair and dress look just right this way, because my drawing style is super unrealistic and this is a fairytail-like drawing, so I wasn't going for a natural look
